What’s included in your employee benefit statements?
The benefit statements display the employer benefit costs and total compensation for an employee. In addition, a color pie chart shows employees that the value of their benefits (their “hidden paycheck”) makes up a large portion of their total compensation. The statements include a letter from the head of your organization that you may customize. Your employees will receive their benefit statements in security window envelopes. And, of course, our benefit statements follow all of the tips for better statements.

How can you prepare benefit statements at such an affordable cost?
We focus our benefit statements on one clear message—Employees are paid a lot more than their salary. By doing so, we don’t spend your dollars duplicating information employees can easily obtain elsewhere. (See our tip for better benefit statements, Only include information employees can’t get anywhere else.) We are able to present all the information describing the cost of your organization’s benefits on one page, and that saves you money, too. For a sample benefit statement, contact us.

Do you charge extra for customization?
Our benefit statements can be customized for your organization at no extra charge. You can personalize the message appearing in the middle of the statements to reflect your organization’s philosophy and even add your company’s logo to the top of the statements. The benefit statements can be printed with eye-catching blue, orange, red, green or brown graphics and titles. The cost of vacation, holidays, sick days, and personal leave may be shown as a benefit cost or as part of salary. Your organization’s name and address can be printed on the envelopes enclosing the benefit statements for a small additional charge.

How do I send you the employee data for the benefit statements?
An Excel worksheet is the best way. We also accept tab- or comma-separated text files. The data can be in any order. We only require a descriptive heading above each column of data. If you supply employee data on more than one worksheet, we’ll take care of merging the data.

How often should I give employees benefit statements?
Most employers give their employees benefit statements once a year. We can prepare statements more frequently if desired. The most popular times for preparing benefit statements are after open enrollment periods and at the end of the calendar or fiscal year. Some organizations produce benefit statements when business is slow and more time is available for preparation.

What size organizations should take advantage of your benefit statements?
We can produce benefit statements for organizations of all sizes. While there is no minimum size requirement, we have found that few organizations with less than 25 employees prepare benefit statements.

Do you charge by the hour?
We don’t charge by the hour to prepare benefit statements. You also aren’t charged additional fees for telephone calls, emails, or even for UPS delivery. Our very competitive fees are based primarily on the number of employees who will receive benefit statements. Contact us and we’ll send you a sample benefit statement. We’ll tell you exactly how much your benefit statements will cost before you retain us.
